Terry L. Jones

DOVER – Terry L. Jones, Sr., 80, of Dover, passed away, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home in Dover.  He was the husband of Linda M. (Lower) Jones whom he married 52 years ago on July 15, 1973.

Terry was born in York, PA on February 25, 1945.  He graduated in 1963 from Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, PA.  He was employed by the United States Postal Service before retiring.  And was a member of Church of Christ in Red Lion, PA.   Terry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his sons, Terry Jones, Jr., and wife Denise, John Jones, and Alex Jones and wife Melissa; his daughter, Edyie Jo Gutermuth and husband, Stephen; twelve grandchildren, Steve (Valerie), Zac, Amy (Justin), Benjamin, Grasen, Kayleigh, Kayden, Kaylynne, Sheena (Jon), Jacqueline (Scott), Ryan (Kaylie), and Terry (Anna); four great grandchildren, Hayden, Paisley, Aspen, and Noah.  He was preceded in death by his siblings.

A graveside service for Terry will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 3, 2025, at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, PA.  Full Military Honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.  Officiating at the service will be Pastor Fred Nowell.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
