Royce W. Sebring
DOVER – Royce W. Sebring, 90, of Dover, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, at his home in Dover, PA. He was the husband of Pearl (Clapper) Sebring whom he married on September 30, 2010.
Royce was born June 15, 1935, in Clearfield, PA and was the son of the late Ord and Emma (Lloyd) Sebring.
He attended York Springs Senior High School in York Springs, PA. He was employed by Clark Shoe Manufacturing in Hanover and West Virginia for over 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Hanover Moose and bowling leagues in the area. Royce enjoyed working and building with wood.
In addition to his wife, Royce is survived by his son, Rodger Sebring of TN; his daughter, Tammy Mummert of York, PA; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and his sister, Bula Crawner of York Springs, PA. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Sebring, his daughter, Debra Carbaugh, his brother, Vinnie Starner, and Craford Sebring, and his sister, June Myers.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, July 28, 2025, at Suburban Memorial Gardens, 3875 Bull Road, Dover, PA. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Lisa Hair. Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
