Laura G. Albright

WEST YORK – Laura G. Albright, 108, of York, passed away, Friday, April 4, 2025, at Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York, PA.  She was the wife of the late Melvin E. Albright who passed away May 16, 2005.

Mrs. Albright was born February 28, 1917, in York, and was the daughter of the late Claude and Clara (Hamme) Lucabaugh. 

She was a member of the Viking Athletic Association in West York, PA, West York V.F.W. Post 8951 and Paradise Holtzschwamm Evangelical Covenant Church in Thomasville, PA. 

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Miller of York, Pa, her son, Gary Albright and his wife, Mariann of Dover, PA; 3 grandchildren, Steven and his wife Amanda, Jacquelyn, and her husband Kevin, and Julie, and her husband Chad; and five great grandchildren, Liam, Addison, Macy, Lena, and Reid.  She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Raymond Miller, two brothers, and two sisters.

Her funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Paradise Holtzschwamm Evangelical Covenant Church, 6777 Lincoln Highway West, Thomasville, PA.  Her burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York, PA.  Officiating at her service will be her pastor Reverend Paul Guiliano.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
