Jeffrey L. Stevens

York – Jeffrey L. Stevens, 64, of York, PA, passed away, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Jill L. (Strayer) Stevens.

Jeffrey was born on April 12, 1961, in York, PA and was the son of the late Richard E. and Kay L. Wilson Stevens.

He graduated from Eastern York High School class of 1979. He was a truck driver for Sheffer Beer Distributors and several other distributors in the York area. Jeff was a member of the Rooster Club, 13th Ward, 12th Ward Democratic, West York V.F.W. Post #8951, Vigalant, South End, and BD Clubs . He was a selfless, generous, compassionate, loving, and structured man who went to great lengths to ensure everything was in place for his wife, Jill, before his death. Jeff also loved spending time with his family and beach buddies at their beach home in Tuckahoe Acres, Bethany Beach, DE. He enjoyed watching Formula One, Dirt Track and Nascar racing on television and was a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan.

In addition to his wife Jill, Mr. Stevens is survived by his two sons, Cody Schaeffer and his wife, Heidi, Joshua Schaeffer and his wife, Nicole; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Jakob Logan; 3 sisters, Sharon Marlowe and her husband Donnie, Kelly Hoke and her husband Keith, and Melissa Tomes and her husband Mark; and five nieces and nephews.

A time of remembrance and celebration of Jeff ’s life will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 47 North Queen Street, Dover, PA.
