DOVER – Gerald Lee Glass, 84, of Dover, passed away, Thursday April 10, 2025, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.  He was the husband of Jane L. (Kern) Glass whom he married 33 years ago on October 13, 1991.

Gerald was born November 17, 1940, in Dover, PA and was the son of the late Raymond and Ethel (Ziegler) Glass.

He graduated in 1958 from Northern Senior High School in Dillsburg, PA.  He was employed by York Corrugating in York, PA for 25 years before retiring in 2012.  He was a life member of the York Motorcycle Club.  Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by his twin daughters, Karen Ziegler and her husband Joe of East Berlin, PA. and Kathy Sterner and her husband Brad of Spring Grove, PA; one grandson, Joseph; his brothers, Barry Glass and Ralph Glass both of Dover, PA and his sister, Deb Curry of Port Sidling, PA.  Gerald was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Snelbaker and Mary Spoon.

The service and burial for Gerald will be private.  His burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
