Gary L. Moore

DOVER- Gary L. Moore, 82, of Dover, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at The Gardens of West Shore in Camp Hill, PA.

Gary was born May 24, 1943, in York, PA. and was the son of the late William L. and Frances E. (Reiker) Moore.

He graduated in 1962 from William Penn High School in York, PA.  He was employed for nearly 30 years with GTE Sylvania in York, PA before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman.  Gary proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war.

Gary is survived by his brothers, Leonard Moore and his wife Donna of York, PA and Ricky Moore of Dover, PA, and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Moore and Dwight Moore.

His memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 29, 2026, at Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Avenue, York, PA.  Officiating at his service will be Reverend Tom Kepert from Faith United Church of Christ.  His burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
