Ervin L. Myers
YORK – Ervin L. Myers, 74, of York, PA passed away, Friday, December 26, 2025, at his home in York. He was the husband of Judith A. (Aldinger) Myers whom he married 30 years ago on November 14, 1995.
Ervin was born August 24, 1951, in Yoe, PA and was the son of the late David and Jessie (Houseman) Myers.
He graduated in 1969 from Dallastown Senior High School in Dallastown, PA. He was employed for over 27 years with P.A.& S. Small Company in York, PA before leaving in 1994. Later he was employed by Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, PA before moving into his own business. He was a member of the NRA, Victory Athletic Association in York, PA, an avid hunter, and enjoyed the sport of Archery where he won many awards for his expertise.
In addition to his wife, Ervin is survived by his stepdaughter, Jodi Strocko and her husband Vincent of East York, Pa; his (dopted) daughter, Michele Shoop and her husband, Russell of York, three grandchildren, Justin and his wife Alexis, Logan and his wife Madelyn, and Maddison; four great grandchildren, and his brother, Carter Myers and his wife Patricia of Dallastown, PA. Ervin was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Hamme.
His funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, January 5, 2026, at Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 47 North Queen Street, Dover, PA. His viewing will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. His burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Officiating at his service will be Reverend Steven Schmuck from Red Lion Bible Church
