Constance L. Minor

DOVER – Constance L. (Seitz) Minor, 78 of Dover, PA, passed away, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital, York, PA.  She was the wife of the late Donald J. Minor who passed away February 27, 2013. 

Constance was born February 2, 1948, in York, PA and was the daughter of the late Carl and Madalyn (Meals) Seitz.

She graduated in 1967 from West York High School in York, PA.  She was employed for over 30 years at McCrory’s Distribution Center in York and over 20 years with Giant Grocery Stores.  She was a member of the West York V.F. W. Post 8951 and the ladies auxiliary of the Shiloh American Legion Post 0791, She was a former member of Union Lutheran Church in York, PA.

Constance is survived by her stepdaughters, Melinda Mercado and her husband Ivan of York, and Rachel Minor of Washington; three grandchildren, Janaya Minor, Savannah Kveragas, and Jaziah Almodovar; two great grandchildren, Noah and Joshua Blakey; two sisters, Cherry Brown and her husband Robert of Dover, PA, and Deborah Perago of York, PA.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Seitz.  She will be missed by her beloved cats, Butterball and Inney.

Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 47 North Queen Street, Dover, PA.  Her viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2026, at the funeral home. Her burial will be in Shiloh Union Cemetery in (Shiloh) York, PA.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Lisa Hair.
