Arlene E. Myers
SHILOH – Arlene E. Myers, 95, passed peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Philip T. Myers who passed in 2021. The couple was married for 71 years at the time of Philip’s passing.
Mrs. Myers was born in East Berlin, PA on January 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Ray Strausbaugh and Harriet (Grove) Strausbaugh. She was a 1948 graduate of William Penn senior High School. She was employed by Teledyne Readco until her retirement in 1992.
She was very active in Girl Scouting, garden clubs and in her church, Shiloh United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Myers is survived by two daughters, Carol Spahr and Susan Myers of York, one step granddaughter, Anjela Spahr; three step great grandchildren, Kayleigh Trabona (Zach), Sean McEahern (Margaret McCall) and Megan McEahern (Thomas Williams) and two step great great granddaughters, Gianna and Eliza Trabona. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Robert L. Spahr and three siblings, Kenneth and Lester Strausbaugh and Janet Frye.
Her services and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
