Philip M. Koble

YORK – Philip M. Koble, 74 of York, PA passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Kingston Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York, PA.  He was the husband of Elizabeth J. (Stouch) Koble, whom he married 54 years ago on October 1, 1971.

Philip was born on September 9, 1951, in York, PA and was the son of the late Charles and Miriam (Fourhman) Koble.

He graduated in 1969 from West York Senior High School in West York, PA and attended Mansfield College in Mansfield, PA.  He worked in the accounting department for American Chain and Cable Company in York, PA. He was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Shiloh, York, PA.

In addition to his wife, Philip is survived by his brother, Charles Koble and his wife Julie of Dover, PA, his niece, Rebecca Hartnett of Fairfax, VA, his nephew, Benjamin Koble of York, PA and three grand nephews.

A graveside service for Philip will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Shiloh Union Cemetery in Shiloh, 2201 Church Road, York, PA.  Officiating at his service will be his pastor Reverend DeAnn Books from Shiloh Lutheran Church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Leber Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, Shiloh and York, PA.
